The world is in an identity crisis! The vast majority strive to find their identity in material things, positions of authority, job titles, accomplishments, and even in other people. In society, we are taught to follow our hearts and do what we feel is right. But the Bible tells us the heart without the Lord is deceitful and wicked. “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9
We were created with a divine purpose, and the longing in our hearts is something that only Jesus can fill!
When the storms of life come our way, we should run to the ONE who has FULL AUTHORITY to silence the raging sea. The one who walked on water and caused the sea to calm. When we find our identity in Christ, we find life! We find purpose! He is the great I AM! You need peace; He is!|You need hope; He is!| You need forgiveness; He is!| You need salvation; He is!|
All power and authority are given to Him!
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. “ -Matthew 28:18
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
Set your eyes on Jesus, continue to allow Him to do a work in you. He will give you the eyes to see, the heart to love, the skills to do all you need in life!
Don’t let the worlds flawed standards and labels define you!
Let your faith in Jesus define you!
